Victory Yakima Twilight

After a long week of work this friday was dedicated to my favorite past time, drinking. I met up with Meylo at his office and he had the same idea. So we headed to our favorite downtown bar, the Gingerman. I hadn’t been there in awhile so I was excited to see what seasonal brews had arrived. We walked in and I took a look at the black board and there in chalk letters was written “Victory Yakima Twilight” (VYT). With a huge grin on my face I ordered a pint of VYT and was instantly transported to my childhood. I remembered driving from Toppenish to Yakima and passing by the hop fields and just the overwhelming herbaceous smell of the hops. Amazing that a beer can evoke so much. But this is no ordinary beer and I hope you pick one up at a bar or store near you as it is going away soon.
